INSOMNIA RELIEF

A busy mind, stress, jet lag, a change in work, home, or diet, aging, or hormone-shifts may all lead to not sleeping well. Some call it Insomnia. Many people, even when they do sleep, don’t get enough rest. This can lead to fogginess, fatigue, depression, lack of responsiveness, increased stress, a raw jagged feeling, incompletion of projects and much more.

Regardless of the cause, the brain and body make chemical shifts and changes that perpetuate the lack of rest. Sometimes it seems awareness spins like a hamster on a wheel that can’t or won’t rest.

There is Help. It is simple and requires no effort. It is designed to retrain the mind and body system to experience its true nature.

The Ishayas’ (ish-eye-ahs) Ascension Class is designed to help you reduce stress, and give your body deeper rest -about twice as deep as the deepest sleep at night.

Fact: Even people who are sleeping 8 to 10 hours every night may be rest deprived. Sleeping does not mean we are necessarily getting deep rest. Deep rest is the basis for the body to replenish. With proper rest the body can turn back aging, improve and strengthen the immune system, produce more alertness and experience ease in everyday activities.

The Ishayas' Ascension Class will provide you with tools for your daily use to help bring about significant changes.

Benefits of the program include:

  • Deeper Rest
  • Quiet mind
  • Stress relief
  • Clarity of Thought
  • More Energy
  • Leads to the Cultivation of Inner Peace
  • Circadian Rhythm Balance (regulation of sleep & metabolism)
  • Overcoming self-limiting internal programs
  • Experiencing the Expansiveness of Your True Nature
  • Building a conscious connection with the Source
  • Heal Emotional Wounds
  • Being completely present in every moment, and so living life to its fullest

What does sleep consist of?

Research has shown that sleep is actually a mixture of passive phases and active phases. Many of the bodies systems may be at rest, while others are fully active - this engages the natural sleep cycle process. Sleep has several levels; pre-sleep a twilight active stage, NREM (an inactive state), and REM (an active state of sleep).

The Pre-sleep stage is where our brain waves go from alpha into Theta getting ready for sleep. This stage is relaxed, may include some dreaming and a feeling of lightness, yet there may be some twitching of muscles as the body is relaxing more.

NREM sleep (non rapid eye movement) can occur during most of the sleep cycle. During this part of the sleep cycle there are no eye movements and no dreaming. During this stage the mind has little or no thoughts and the body now has time to repair muscles and bones itself, rebuild cells, activate hormones to rejuvenate and refresh brain chemistry and get rid of waste products of metabolism. The Brainwave activity during this cycle is usually in the Delta range.

REM (Rapid Eye Movement) occurs at the end of the sleep cycle, and it is an extremely important integration part of sleep. It is during sleep that we get to assimilate the conscious, sub- and un-conscious mind and adapt or blend these to how we function and a sense of self in relation to our world. REM sleep is known to prompt the areas of the brain that are connected to learning. We process all that we have taken in for the day since our last sleep cycle. This sleep cycle is also associated with brain wave activity that is in the Theta range. It is also a stage associated with dreaming. It is the active phase, there is eye movement, maybe twitching of the legs or arms and the body may jerk. This may be the time when people do sleep walking, talking or even eating in their sleep.

There is Another Component of the rest cycle called The Circadian Rhythm. This is the biological rhythm almost all life follows, and is mostly effected by sunlight and seasonal temperature. Circadian Rhythms control eating and sleeping cycles. When there is a problem with the circadian rhythms sleep and other physiological related issues may arise. These problems are usually due to a drop in Melatonin, a hormone created by the pineal gland, which regulates the sleep/wake cycle.

Why do we need to sleep? And what happens when we don’t sleep?

Sleep is a way for our minds and bodies to process information, to repair the body and relax. Under experiments where people who have been totally deprived of all sleep for a couple of weeks, they start to hallucinate in an attempt to decompress the amount of unprocessed stimulus and activity that can not be resolved without rest. For many who have interrupted or insufficient amounts of sleep they may daydream or drift off in a foggy state to resolve this with projects and ideas going uncompleted.

The Ishayas’ Ascension Class

The teaching of the Ishayas’ (ish-eye-ahs) Ascension Consists of four parts and is taught over several days. Each day a seperate technique is taught that targets a different fundamental stress that affects our lives. The basis of discord in our lives starts at birth and can be released and replaced with tools that will last a lifetime to reset our perspective. As a result the body responds with greater ease and peace. This technique is easier than meditation in that you do not have to have a quiet mind or rigid pose with a straight spine to get results. Nor do we have to believe it will work for it to be effective. Nor do we have to have a religious or non religious orientation to use it. In fact anyone from any walk of life and any religious background can use this. Comfort is key in this practice. And these techniques can be used with your eyes open or with your eyes closed: with eyes closed it gives you deeper rest than the deepest sleep –about twice as deep, with eyes open it helps keep you in the present moment so you can experience more of what is with you now than wasting time thinking about the past or trying to control the future that has not yet arrived.

The techniques allow coherency between the right and left hemispheres of the brain. Coherency is most prominently found in persons who are experiencing being in the zone or having a Peak Experience*. This is when the brain waves match or are the same from right and left hemispheres.

The Class Format

Quantum Energy Medizine offers The Ishayas’ Ascension Class in two different formats. Either

  1. Evening classes are taught one night a week from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for 4 consecutive weeks
  2. Weekend classes are offered beginning Friday evening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., continuing 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
  3. Because the class consists of 4 subsequent parts it must be completed in order.

*for those who work 2nd shift and have a group that would like to learn, classes can be arranged in the morning or afternoon one day a week for 4 weeks. Please call to discuss setting up classes.

There will be several follow up sessions after the fundamental class. These will be used to check on your experiences with using the techniques, answer questions and chart your progress.

Please note - This class is designed to increase your rest which may not equate to getting more sleep. Sleep does not necessarily mean a person is rested. Many people due to stored stress and anxiety do not rest while sleeping….ask anyone who has nightmares throughout their sleep if they feel rested. This class is a means of greater rest and inner peace.

Though it is a technique for people to experience deeper rest and peace does not replace getting sound medical attention for chemical imbalances, or physiological-biological conditions that may be causing insomnia or sleep disturbances. This class is a means for helping reduce stress and incorporate simple techniques to access peace and rest naturally. Individuals should seek medical advice from a qualified doctor or health professional if they suspect that they have physiological problems before taking this class.

*a term used by Abraham Maslow, a Psychologist who studied the human potential. A peak experience is one that takes you out of yourself, that makes you feel very tiny, or very large, to some extent one with life or nature or God. It gives you a feeling of being a part of the infinite and the eternal. These experiences tend to leave their mark on a person, change them for the better, and many people actively seek them out. They are also called mystical experiences, and are an important part of many religious and philosophical traditions. From Personality Theories, Abraham Maslow 1908-1970 by Dr. C. George Boeree. http://webspace.ship.edu/cgboer/maslow.html, 12th paragraph under Self Actualization.
